Travel Dates:
The Abstinence Clearinghouse recommends arriving no later than Wednesday, August 3, and leaving no earlier than Sunday, August 7. With Universal Studios Amusement Park, City Walk, and Studio Tours less than 10 minutes from the hotel, groups may want to extend their stay to add a little play-time to the conference experience.
Air Travel:
The Abstinence Clearinghouse and the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel recommend flying into Burbank Airport. This regional airport offers multiple airlines including, Alaska, Aloha, American Airlines, America West, Delta, Jet Blue, Southwest, and United. On Site Parking:
The conference parking rates are $2 for the first 4 hours and $10 for the entire day. These rates can be lowered by having the parking tag validated by any vendor located steps from the conference meeting rooms.
Conference Attire:
Business and professional dress are recommended for adult attendees. Modest attire is expected of all attendees. Because attendees are encouraged to explore the Hollywood and Highland complex, including the Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Kodak Theater, and the other attractions steps from the conference rooms, comfortable shoes are recommended.
Attendees are encouraged to "go all out" and dress up for the red-carpet arrival and the Abstie Award Banquet on Saturday night. Do not be surprised if you are stopped and asked, "Who are you wearing?!"
The Box Office:
The registration cost including the red-carpet banquet, all the sessions, and unlimited access to the Exhibitor Showcase are available at an affordable rate! As always, affiliates of the Abstinence Clearinghouse are rewarded with substantial discounts on the conference registration price.
